GAMA Trade Show 2008

The GAMA Trade Show was this April 20th-24th. Some 1000 retailers visited the booths of many of the industry's top Game Producers, Manufacturers, and Distributors.

Gryphon Forge had the opportunity to host a booth to promote our debut card game - Wizard's Gambit. During the course of the show we had 100s of retailers come by and check out the game. Overall we had tremendous success! People really liked the game, we generated great interest for Distributors, and made many contacts in the industry.

Matt and Eric spent the first day setting up the Gryphon Forge Booth and meeting with people before the start of the show. We even had a chance to present Wizard's Gambit to the retailers at the Retailer Dinner on opening night. We were set to go!

Here we setup all of our tradeshow swag: Flyers, Stickers, and Business Cards.

Eric gets into an actual game with three publishers from France. They wanted to see the mechanics in action and ended up having a great time playing the game.

Eric describes the game for a retailer, who was very interested in the game. Overall feedback was extremely positive. People really liked the artwork, the non-collectable aspect, and the balance of luck, strategy and politics.

By the end of the convention Matt and Eric we're very happy with show. They met a lot of great people in the industry and had a great time showing people Wizard's Gambit!
